Printing Types

Check out the videos and learn more about different types of printing we offer at Mallory Sports below. We can pretty much customize anything that you or your team is looking for right here in local shop in Wood River, IL.

Embroidery

Embroidery is done using computerized state of the art equipment combined with quality threads to get the best look when sewn on your garment. The process starts with advanced digitizing software and expertise so the design will stitch correctly. Then our computerized embroidery machines can sew up to 1400 stitches per minute with as many as 16 colors in a single design. All of this combined with close attention to detail insures that you are getting a superior embroidery design.

Direct to Garment (DTG)

DTG printing is the process of using a state of art printer and specialty inks. The inks are applied to the textile directly and are absorbed by the fibers. The color palette for this type of printing is unlimited, therefore there is not a separate charge based on the colors of the design.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is the process of using a stencil, or multiple stencils in the case of a multiple color design, to apply ink onto a garment. It is a very cost-effective technique when large quantities of garments are needed.

Heat Transfer

“Heat Transfer”, or “Heat Press”, is similar to, but obviously a bit more advanced than, ironing on letters / numbers. A film is cut in your requested design then pressed on a shirt, bag, or apparel item of your choice. Check the video below and you’ll see how it works.
